Whistlers Program

Modernians Hockey Club has developed their own Whistlers program for young up and coming juniors to umpire hockey.

Our “Whistler Program” aims to support the development of strong umpiring capability within the Club.
The program is an education and development program that aims to use our experienced umpires to mentor new and inexperienced umpires, in conjunction with Hockey WA’s umpire accreditation pathway.
Each year we call for expression of interest from our J9/10 and J11/12 squads to start developing as umpires. If you are interested and want to get involved

All Umpires will need a Working with Children check.
